Drugs & Alcohol

The biggest concern for parents of school aged children is alcohol abuse. Although recreational drug use is a reality, alcohol is the most commonly used drug for this age group.

The Australian Drug Foundation produces a series of booklets for parents on dealing with the use of alcohol, party drugs, cannabis and heroin and offers speakers on a number of related topics. The booklets are available from the ADF by calling 03 9278 8100 or 1800 069 700 or visit the ADF website for more details.
